Skips and Bins for Renovations and Clean-Ups
Whether you're ripping out a bathroom, re-doing the kitchen, clearing a shed or just having a big clean-up, we drop off a skip or bin that suits the size of your job, you fill it, and we take it away. No trips to the tip, no trailer loads — one delivery, one pick-up, done.
We service Ballarat, Geelong and the wider Western Victoria region for both residential and commercial jobs. Because GPA is a licensed asbestos specialist, if your renovation uncovers suspect material, we can test and remove it properly — asbestos can never go in a skip bin, so having both services under one roof keeps your job safe and compliant. We deliver skips and bins to your door and collect them when you're done.

Frequently Asked Questions
What size skip bin do I need?
For a small renovation like a bathroom strip-out, a 2–4 m³ skip usually does the job. A garage or whole-house clean-up generally needs 4–6 m³, and bigger renovations or building jobs need larger bins. Tell us what you're doing and we'll recommend the right size — it's almost always cheaper to get one bin slightly bigger than two smaller ones.
What can I put in a skip bin?
General household waste, renovation and building debris, timber, furniture and green waste are all fine. Heavy materials like bricks, concrete and soil can be taken by arrangement — let us know the waste type when you book so we supply the right bin.
What can't go in the skip?
Asbestos can never go in a skip bin — it's illegal and dangerous. Chemicals, wet paint, batteries, gas bottles and tyres are also not accepted. If your home was built before 1990 and you suspect asbestos in what you're removing, talk to us first — GPA is licensed for asbestos testing and removal, so we can deal with it safely before your clean-up starts.
Do I need a council permit for the skip?
Not if the bin sits on your own property, like a driveway. If it needs to go on the road or nature strip, your local council requires a permit — rules vary between councils, so tell us where the bin will sit when you book and we'll advise what's needed.
How quickly can you deliver, and how long can I keep the bin?
We aim to deliver promptly across Ballarat, Geelong and Western Victoria, and hire periods are flexible to suit your job. Call Luke on 0468 911 153 to check availability for your dates.
